Gods are not destined to die, but humans are destined to live forever. What if the opposite happens?
Summer is going by normally for Vilnius resident Gilte: during the day she writes advertising texts about pots in the office, in the evenings she makes pasta with pesto sauce at home or meets up to chat with her best friend Jūrates in the CAC bar. One afternoon, Gilte's life is turned upside down, because the demon Magyla, who unexpectedly appeared, claims that she is the goddess of death Giltinė. But that's not the worst news.
As her memories return, Gilte realizes that she chose the human state with a gnawing guilt: in the turmoil of a tragedy that once occurred, she broke the Unmentionable Rule - she created an immortal person against her will. This contradicts all protocols, so this world, according to the Director, will have to be archived. Will the three friends manage to stop the apocalypse planned by Rasas?
